PDRN Brightening Serum
The skin-renewal ingredient behind Korea's most requested clinic treatment, PDRN, paired with a wrinkle-smoothing peptide and deep hydration, in a weightless daily serum.
The ingredient dermatology clinics inject
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a purified fragment of DNA, originally from salmon, that has been used in regenerative medicine for decades to speed skin repair. In skin research it binds adenosine receptors, encouraging fibroblasts, the cells that build collagen, to get to work, and laboratory work shows it also dials down excess pigment production. Dermatology clinics in Seoul inject it as a 'skin booster'; this serum delivers it topically every day alongside acetyl hexapeptide-8, a peptide studied for softening expression lines, and a hydration trio of hyaluronate, sodium PCA and panthenol.
Outdoor life is hard on skin
Sun, wind and salt on long training days age skin faster than almost anything, and the face is where it shows first. PDRN was first used in medicine to help skin repair itself, and here it goes on morning and night to support that renewal, while the peptide softens the look of early lines and the humectants put back the water that outdoor sessions pull out. It is weightless, so it sits fine under sunscreen and a cap or a helmet. Fresh skin is not vanity when your sport lives outside, it is just upkeep.
Studied, not just marketed
PDRN's injectable evidence is strong; topical evidence is promising but younger. Here is what is actually published.
Summaries describe published research on the ingredient, not on this specific product. Individual results vary.
Look as rested as you need to seem
Boardrooms, cameras, red-eye flights. When your face is part of the job, looking tired costs you before you open your mouth. This is the at-home version of the treatment people fly to Seoul for: PDRN to support skin renewal, a peptide studied for softening expression lines, and a hydration trio that gives skin that awake, lit-from-within look under office light. Two clean layers, morning and night, and nothing that leaves shine on a video call. You will not out-sleep a hard quarter, but you do not have to look like it either.
Why Dr. Elizabeth stocks this
"I get asked about PDRN constantly since it became the ingredient everyone flies to Korea for. The injectable evidence is real; topical PDRN is newer, and I say that plainly. What I like about this formula is that it doesn't rely on PDRN alone, the peptide and the humectants carry their own weight, the texture is genuinely light, and there is no fragrance, no silicone, no alcohol. Use it twice a day under sunscreen and give it eight weeks."
What to expect
Apply 2-4 pumps to clean, dry skin morning and night, followed by moisturiser and, in the morning, sunscreen. Expect immediate hydration and a smoother feel.
Skin renews roughly every four weeks. This is when tone starts looking more even and fine lines softer.
Collagen-related changes are slow. Keep going; results compound with daily use and consistent SPF.

Good questions
Is this the same PDRN as the clinic injections?
Same molecule, different delivery. Clinics inject PDRN into the dermis; this serum applies it to the skin's surface twice daily. Topical evidence is newer than injectable evidence, and we say so.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free and paraben-free, and formulated for all skin types. Patch-test first if your skin is reactive.
Where does it go in my routine?
After cleansing (and any toner), before moisturiser. In the morning, always finish with sunscreen.
Can I use it with retinol or vitamin C?
Yes. It layers well with both; apply PDRN serum first, let it absorb, then continue your routine.
Is it vegan?
No, PDRN is derived from salmon DNA.
