L-Citrulline & L-Arginine Stack
A blood-flow and recovery stack built on the two amino acids behind nitric oxide, L-citrulline and L-arginine, for a stronger pump and easier recovery.
The nitric oxide pathway, done properly
Your body makes nitric oxide from the amino acid L-arginine, and nitric oxide is what relaxes and widens blood vessels so more blood, oxygen and nutrients reach working muscles, the feeling lifters call the pump, and so waste clears faster afterwards. The catch is that L-arginine swallowed on its own is largely broken down in the gut and liver before it can do the job. L-citrulline slips past that, converts to arginine in the kidneys, and has been shown to raise blood arginine and nitric oxide more than arginine itself. Stacking the two covers the pathway from both ends, without a single stimulant.
More in the set now, less soreness tomorrow
Trained lifters given citrulline malate before a workout ground out significantly more reps and reported less muscle soreness two days later, and citrulline has also been shown to improve how efficiently muscles use oxygen during hard efforts. Whether you lift, ride or run, better blood flow means more quality work in the session and an easier recovery after it. Take it before training. There is no caffeine and no crash, so an evening session will not cost you sleep.
Studied, not just marketed
L-citrulline and L-arginine are among the better-studied performance amino acids. Here is what the published trials show.
Summaries describe published research on the ingredient, not on this specific product. Individual results vary.
Train hard on a schedule that never stops
When you train around a demanding job, the real limiter is usually recovery, not effort. A stimulant-free blood-flow stack helps you get more out of a short session and come back fresh for the next day and the early meeting. There is no caffeine to wreck your sleep and no mid-afternoon crash, just better circulation to the muscles you are working. Take it before a lift or a ride and let the session do the rest.
Why Dr. Elizabeth stocks this
"If someone is going to take a pre-workout for the pump, I would rather it be citrulline and arginine than another scoop of caffeine. Citrulline is the smarter of the two aminos because it actually survives digestion and raises nitric oxide, and stacking arginine with it is reasonable. It is not magic, it is better blood flow, which shows up as a few more good reps and easier recovery. The one caution I give every patient: nitric-oxide support lowers blood pressure, so if you are on blood-pressure, nitrate or ED medication, or heading for surgery, talk to me first."
What to expect
Take it before training with 6 to 8 oz of water, following the dose on the label. Many people feel a fuller pump in that first session.
Used on your training days, sets start to feel like they have a little more in them, and next-day soreness eases off.*
This is a training-day tool. The benefit sits with consistent use around your workouts, not a one-time dose.

Good questions
Why both citrulline and arginine?
Nitric oxide is made from arginine, but arginine swallowed on its own is mostly broken down before it works. Citrulline survives digestion and raises arginine and nitric oxide more effectively, so stacking the two covers the pathway from both ends.
Is there caffeine or any stimulant?
No. VASOCHARGE is stimulant-free. It works on blood flow, not on your nervous system, so it will not give you jitters or interfere with sleep. You can use it for a morning or an evening session.
When should I take it?
On training days, before your workout, with a glass of water. Follow the dose on the label. It is designed as a pre-workout blood-flow support rather than an all-day supplement.
Who should not take it?
Nitric-oxide support can lower blood pressure. Do not use it if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, on blood-pressure, nitrate or erectile-dysfunction medication, or before surgery. Check with your physician if you have any medical condition or take medication.
Do I have to lift for it to help?
It is built around training, where better blood flow matters most. Better circulation is generally useful, but the studied benefits, more reps and easier recovery, show up when you use it around exercise.
